A new trend is upon us!

Well there's this semi-news that's been circulating around the net like yesterday or the other day or within the week about Batman (I swear this is not another Batman post) stealing some poor guy's Taco Bell order while it is being handed over from the drive-thru window to the car. Yep. Batman. Stealing. Tacos. Here's the video:

Well someone videotaped the Batman scene so that must mean:
a.) The guy recording the crime is an accomplice of Batman

But seriously speaking, whether or not it's real or a joke, the fact that some people are starting to use superhero costumes or costumes in general to hide their identities during criminal acts is quite alarming indeed. Just imagine yourself in the position of the person being mugged. How in the hell will you describe the appearance of the thief when the police asks you about it?

You: Umm officer he kinda looked like a man. With briefs on his head and an underwear that has this string that kinda, wraps around his body.
Police: Wait- what? Can you explain that again?
You: Uhhh.... well you see *you proceed to draw the image of the assailant*

Then you get thrown in a mental institution or something.

So now you're kinda thinking, "Wait a minute! That's only 1 instance with Batman up there!" hooooo that's just the start of it.


Just last June 2010, a woman in New York came waltzing into a shoe store dressed as the fucking-Catwoman, and robbed the place like how Catwoman does. Here's a video (I think) of that crime, caught in CCTV cameras.





See how she gracefully walks into the store, hands over a note or something, takes the money away and again gracefully walks out of the store. Crime done. Voila! Sweet mother of Captain America! That's some quick robbery right there. And guess what, the best (or worst) part of it (if it's true), the best drawing that people came up with is this:

See I told ya this will be hard and alarming. But no those are just 2 instances! TWO! Well you haven't seen this last one I guess. Yep! There's a THIRD NEWS ABOUT CRIMINALS DRESSED UP AS SOME CHARACTER. This one happened last July. Again, this year. Is there something wrong with 2010? Anyway, this guy walks into a bank dressed as your father, DARTH-friggin-VADER, and then proceeds to rob the said bank.  Here are the images just to prove that this one's seriously legit.

It is clearly seen that he used his force for the people to cooperate

The people in the bank thought it was a joke at first. Maybe he's also breathing heavily? Guess he needs all the money that he could get to build a 3rd Star Destroyer. It is unknown whether or not he used a tie-fighter to escape, or maybe an x-wing?

But seriously, he didn't need that gun, he could have easily choked all those people with his powers. Damn it, these criminals are getting waaay out of line here. Maybe this will ignite something deep inside us. To dress up as superheroes to fight these criminals. Cmon! Let's do this people! Who's with me?
