Light Duct Tapes!

I know hindi ko inabutan ang original Tron film back in the early 80's but napanood ko naman sya just to see what they were all excited about when Tron: Legacy was released last year. Well, the original turns out to be a sort-of Matrix type kind of film with all the computers and all the digital effects the 80's had to offer that time. Awesome graphics and spaceships and computer battles Blocks and pixels. So seeing this duct tape ad made me smile dahil they went for the old film's light cycle scene.

1000++ internets to the ones who conceptualized this advertisement. And a slight deduction for the awkwardness of Tron Guy and his wife sister. What? Anong stereotyping? Judgmental? ME? Well screw you *goes to garage with a pole SCH-IIIIING! PEW PEW PEW!

Movie Review: The Rise of the Planet of the Apes

Good Lord that's one long ass movie title. Ano yan tongue twister? And writing this review took me what? Two weeks? I know I'm starting to lose focus once more but hell, I rarely watch t.v. these days and rarely go online. So now on with the movie...

When this was announced, I wasn't particularly excited with the concept. I mean, really? A movie where almost all of us knows the ending? It's practically written in the title so you know what to expect. The Rise of the Planet of the Apes. And the tagline states: Evolution becomes Revolution. Basic math na lang yan and context clues, ohhh me know math!! hooh hooh haah haah! me likey.

Was I surprised when I watched this film and found myself engaged in one of the best movies so far this year.

Ah! Just in time for the new film!

If you're a normal person not living in a cave (except Bruce of course), chances are you've seen the trailer for the new Spiderman film coming out next year, a reboot of a film series we kinda grew up with. Well, to coincide with the promotions that they're doing for the film (trailer, comic-con surprises, Andrew Garfield in the Social Network) and the passing of the suit from Tobey to Andrew, Marvel showed the world the new Spiderman in their Ultimate universe. Spoilers ahead if you're updated in the comics and stuff.

Sooo in line with the movie. (via)

So today while doing stuff...

I suddenly missed certain types of songs or music that I really liked back in highschool. Or was it elementary pa? Not sure. Let's just say that it brought back memories, and you know, I started thinking: "What the hell happened with these kinds of sounds?"

Well it kinda disappeared. I mean locally, here in the Philippines. Na-dominate na tayo ng pop songs, emo bands, pogi rock, Sarah Geronimo and the likes.

Or a combination of all of those.
So what kind of music am I talking about? Plug your ears, bring your rosaries (you know what they say about it), and keep your moms away from the computer. Read on.

OMFG.

Well I need to make an update every time I find something interesting or I find the time to, you know, write and stuff, but for this one, i'll keep it relatively short since I'm really just excited.

Para sa mga hindi nakakaalam, I've written a few posts about this new American television series called The Walking Dead. To keep this short, the said series premiered last October 31, 2010 (Thanks for the info Francis) and it's about a cop, a few survivors of an epidemic or outbreak. And there are zombies. Yep. Zombies. On a weekly basis. Man how exciting huh?

No reviews for now. Still waiting for the episode to load. Fanboy-ish much? I'm hoping na maging maayos ang translation from the comics to television. Maybe this one will be my new Lost? Hope so.

WHAT---

THE HELL.

It's fresh! It's NEW! Iiiiiittttt's.....

Mara Clara kung hindi mo gets.
WOW. Well I'm being honest here. Honestly. Just look at my post about Imortal and see ABS-CBN's line up.

Ngayon, di ko talaga alam ang sa GMA-7. Survivor and Godzilla lang yung alam kong palabas dun so sorry talaga GMA-7 fans. As for TV5.

What? What're you saying about running out of ideas? No way in hell. NO.
........
.......
....
....

--------
I'd say around 8 years bago nila mahanap yung diary. For a change.

Just a reminder to everyone.

That laptops should never be placed on your laps.

DON'T

I know. It's pretty contradicting. But trust me on this one. Or, you know, this study that recently came up on one of the websites that I frequently visit, if you don't believe me.

ABS-CBN's new show: Imortal

Well, kakatapos lang ng pilot episode ng new series ng ABS-CBN called Imortal. It's a show about vampires and werewolves roaming our society. Or ayun ang pagkakaintindi ko. I don't know, I wasn't really paying attention to the story of the show because seriously, nothing happens in these first episodes story-wise.

But what really caught me was the show's premise...

OMG. This is epic.

Hey it's September 13!

Guess what? It's a special day today! I grew up with this guy. I'm pretty sure you did as well. Today, September 13, 2010, Mario turns 25.

Hey happy birthday! Cheers!
Ohh nostalgic? Suddenly missed him? The game? Well let me share some things with you...

Something Educational: The Letter O.

Well again I've been away for again for some days. I'm sorry bout that. In return, let me share with you this very, very, very useful infographic that I found somewhere. At oo, masayang matutunan ang ganitong random trivial knowledge combined with the way it is presented.

You can actually reach out!

Well there's no point denying that the 3-D Revolution in Visual Media is here. Every month, there's at least one movie that is being shown in 3-D in your local cinemas (kahit na hindi worth it). 2-D films are now being constantly 'upgraded' to 3-D just to be in this trend. Even television sets are getting the 3-D makeover creating that full immersion in the shows and programs you'll be seeing. You'll automatically be a part of the program!

Whether you like it or not
But then some geniuses (or perverts, depends on your preference) came up with something. Well, it really is just a matter of time before the 3-D revolution went there. What is it you ask? I'll assure you that this news will blow you away and it will really suck you in (you'll see what I did there, eventually). Well it's none other than... (for those at work, I'm warning you, but it'll be PG-13. no worries)
